Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, students in the Gifted & Talented program at Clinton County High School had the opportunity to participate in the Lexington Legends Game Day Education Program at Applebee's Park in Lexington.  Legends Education Days are 10:00 am baseball games that happen during the school year to give teachers and students an opportunity to visit the ballpark with their schools and create lasting memories while learning about Our Nation's Pastime.  Students learn about the significant role that baseball has played in American history and the civil rights movement.  Additionally, the Game Days are filled with scientific and mathematical learning opportunities.  CCHS students participated in a STEM Fair, where Jessica Criswell won a prize for building the tallest tower.  On Wednesday, April 19th, CCHS students had the opportunity to participate in the Lexington Legends Game Day Education Program at Applebee's Park.
