Junior students who have had classes this year at the Clinton County Area Technology Center participated in mock interviews on Monday, May 15, 2017. Members from the community and Clinton County School District staff volunteered to help interview. Students completed applications, dressed professionally, and conducted appropriate mannerisms. Approximately sixty students had the opportunity to participate in this professional learning experience. Students were able to choose outfits from the Career Closet that is located in Mrs. Hannah Albertson’s room at the ATC. In months prior to interviews, gently donated clothing items were accepted for students to wear when they have upcoming job opportunities. Thank you to the following volunteers for helping with the junior mock interviews - Willard Johnson (Monticello Banking Company Senior Executive Officer), Tim Albertson (Albany Plumbing & Electric), Mike Davis (Davis & Associates Realty & Auction / Davis & Associates Insurance), Kim Gibson (WIOA Career Manager), Sherry Poore (Title I Parent Liaison), Melissa Campbell (School Psychometrist), Ammie Marcum (Community Education Director), Paulette Brinley (Food Service Director), Pat Campbell (Property Value Administrator), Deborah Ferguson (Lay Simpson Furniture), Colby Guffey (County Extension Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources), Christy Nuetzman (County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Science), Charlotte Nasief (Clinton County Schools Superintendent), and Angela Sloan (CCHS Vice Principal).
