WKU High School Leadership Conference

Each year, high school students from across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio come together at Western Kentucky University for a one day retreat to further develop their leadership skills.  On Friday, September 15th, twenty-seven students from Clinton County High School participated in this High School Leadership Conference at Western Kentucky University.  Students attended sessions presented by Western Kentucky University staff and student leaders.  Session topics included College Panel on How to Succeed at the College Level, Increasing Student / Organizational Motivation, the Importance of Diversity in Leadership, Successful Event / Program Planning, Using Social Media to Your Benefit, Personality in Leadership, Ethics in Leadership, and Leadership Styles.  The trip was sponsored by the Gifted & Talented Program and Gear Up.
