Clinton County Middle School Practical Living & Vocational Studies teacher Lora Grant recently received a $300.00 grant from Girls Who Code. Girls Who Code started five years ago with the belief that computing skills are a critical path to security and prosperity in today’s job market. It was founded with a single mission – to close the gender gap in technology. The funds will be used locally for activities to increase the number of girls who participate in computer science. Mrs. Grant currently facilitates a Girls Who Code club after school on Thursdays as part of the 21st Century program.
