FBLA Chapter Competes at Regional Leadership Conference

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, thirty-three members of Clinton County Area Technology Center's Future Business Leaders of America chapter traveled to the campus of Eastern Kentucky University to compete in the Regional Leadership Conference.  These students brought home a load of hardware, placing in twenty different categories.  Jessica Armstrong placed 3rd in Insurance and Risk Management.  James Cecil placed 3rd in Help Desk.  Renska Covey placed 3rd in Advertising.  Sidney Dominguez placed 3rd in Organizational Leadership.  Jaden Mullins placed 3rd in Business Law.  Christy Sidwell placed 3rd in Business Communication and 3rd in Computer Applications.  Keisha Garrett placed 2nd in Cyber Security.  Paige Hicks placed 2nd in Introduction To Business Communication. Garrett Page placed 2nd in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure.  Makayla Cope and Cydney Sampson won 1st place in Introduction to Business Presentation. Conlan Beck, Rachel Sawyers, and Thomas Holsapple won 1st place in Management Decision Making. Frank Zheng and Vivian Zheng won 1st place in Local Chapter Annual Business Report and 1st place in Local Chapter Name Tag. Vivian Zheng won 1st place in Spreadsheet Applications.  Frank Zheng won 1st place in Business Calculations, 1st place in Word Processing, and 1st place in the Euguene H. Smith Scholarship.  The Voting Delegates: were Steven Grider, Khiara Alexander, and Thomas Holsapple.  Clinton County Area Technology Center placed 2nd in the Local Leadership Challenges.  These students will advance to and compete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Louisville, KY, on April 17-19, 2017. Their local chapter adviser is Mrs. Holly Claborn.

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, thirty-three members of the CCATC FBLA chapter competed at the Regional Leadership Conference.
