CCMS Students Attend KUNA Conference

The Clinton County Middle School KUNA students attended the Kentucky United Nations Assembly at the Galt House in Louisville on March 5-7, 2017.  The Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) is a 3-day experiential learning conference in which students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy. KUNA offers students the opportunity to experience the richness of cultures from around the world, develop empathy, and hone their critical thinking skills while engaging with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues.

The CCMS group received the KUNA Conference Life Award, which is awarded to a Delegation of Excellence who created a positive environment and embodied the spirit of the conference.  Additionally, the CCMS group received Honorable Mention ribbons for both their Global Village Booth and Cultural Attire.  Christian Derryberry was awarded KUNA Outstanding Ambassador.  Congratulations to the CCMS KUNA students and sponsors on these achievements!
