The goal of Rural Up! is to create an exciting and engaging environment in which students are challenged to think about technology in very tangible and applicable ways. By giving them the information and resources needed for success in computer coding, Rural Up! hopes that they will become leaders of the high tech workforce right here in Kentucky. On June 5-8, 2017, twenty-five students were introduced to basic concepts in computer programming during Rural Up! Code Academy Summer Camp at Clinton County Middle School. Students played games to learn how to write code and used html to create their own webpages!
