Y-Club Service Projects 14-15

As a Student Y organization, we participate in different service projects throughout the year. In the 2014-2015 school year, we are activitely involved in the following:

Keep Calm and Recycle - this project will be on-going throughout the school year. Each day, teachers collect paper products to recycle. Student's then collect these paper and recycle them in the recycling bin outside our school. This project will hopefully help Clinton County Middle School make it's impact on the planet. It will also allow students the opportunity to see how much waste we normally just throw away into our landfills.

Germ Busters - Each week a group of students cleans desk throughout our school. This is our way of preventing the spread of germs throughout the school. Hopefully this effort will keep us from missing days of school because of sickness.

Christmas Greetings - The Y-Club students created personalized christmas cards to take to the nursing home. Each card was filled with a message of hope for the holiday season. With these cards the students hoped to spread their holiday cheer.

Can Food Drive - The school participated in a can food drive to help support City Hall. Y-Club students collected cans for one week. At the end of the week we made a donation to city hall.
