On February 28, 2020, seventeen members of SoKY ECCA's FBLA chapter traveled to the campus of Western Kentucky University to compete in the Regional Leadership Conference.

Congratulations to SoKy ECCA students Alex Morrison and John Richardson on earning medals at the recent Skills USA competition!

Students in the Manufacturing, Construction, and Automotive Academies at SOKY ECCA  recently visited Tennessee Tech College of Engineering.

HOSA students at SOKY ECCA assisted with the annual community-wide Health Fair at Dyer Drug.

The HOSA students at the SOKY ECCA along with their Instructors / Advisors Billie Frye, RN and Ashley King, RN collected items for Operation Christmas Child.

The Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) at SOKY ECCA collected eighty-four pounds of canned foods for the community-wide food drive.

On November 26^th, Lisa Beard with State Farm Insurance visited SOKY ECCA to talk with the Medical Arts and Business students about her career as an insurance agent and nurse.

On November 14th, FBLA members and local chapter Advisor Mrs. Lora Grant enjoyed the day together eating breakfast at Shoney’s Restaurant and watching “The Elf Musical” at Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, Tennessee.

FBLA Officers Rachel Sawyers, Paige Hicks, Jaden Mullins, Molly Cecil, and Conlan Beck attended the Fall Leadership Conference at WKU.

On April 15-17, 2019, 12 members of Clinton County ATC's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the State Leadership Conference at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY.

Students from the SCC Cosmetology program at SoKY ECCA competed at the state SkillsUSA competition, bringing home first place in three events! 

The Lead to Succeed students from Clinton County Area Technology Center recently completed a service-learning project at Golden Harvest Village.

Mike Davis presented a check to Kaytlen Matthews in the amount of $1,000.00 on behalf of the Robbie Davis Memorial Foundation.  Kaytlen is a senior at Clinton County High School and will be attending the HOSA International Leadership Conference in June 2019.

Thirty FBLA members attended the Fall Field Trip to Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville Escape, and Cream City Ice Cream on Thursday, October 25th. 

On November 29th, Mrs. Kim Gibson from the Department of Workforce Development visited the Health Sciences Program students and spoke with them about many opportunities available through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Nurse Aide program students got hands-on experience at the annual Health Fair.

At the July 16^th school board meeting, a delegation from Campbellsville University presented information about the mission of the university and the developing relationship between CU and the Clinton County Board of Education.

A celebration with food, fun, and a drone demonstration by Rick Mercader was an excellent ending to the school year for the students and staff at Clinton County Area Technology Center.

Fifteen students passed Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Access, Word, and PowerPoint since March at Clinton County Area Technology Center. 

Clinton County Area Technology Center staff would like to say thank you to all of the parents who were able to attend Parent Appreciation Day at the ATC on April 20th. 

The Automotive Technology program at Clinton County ATC received a generous donation from Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, Kentucky.

On April 16-18, 2018, twelve members of Clinton County Area Technology Center's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the State Leadership Conference.  

The last day of school for students is Tuesday, May 15th.  Teacher Work Days are scheduled for Wednesday, May 16th & Thursday, May 17th.  Closing Day for teachers is Friday, May 18th.  The amended 17-18 district calendar and the newly approved 18-19 district calendar may be viewed in the Quick Links at the left.

CCATC student Billy Abbott received 3rd place Bronze in the Transportation Tool Identification competition at the Kentucky SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference.

CCATC senior Carly Upchurch has successfully completed the Phlebotomy Technician Program and is now a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.

CCATC student Jacob Fisher has been accepted into the KYFAME program and will go to work for Camtech Manufacturing Solutions after graduation, while completing the Advance Manufacturing Technician Program at SCC.  

CCATC was awarded a $10,000 Entrepreneurship Grant awarded by the Cumberlands Workforce Development Board. 

On March 8th, the health science students at CCATC enjoyed a visit with Dennis Propp, a third year medical student at U of L School of Medicine. 

On Friday, March 9, 2018, 24 members of Clinton County Area Technology Center's Future Business Leaders of America chapter traveled to the Eastern Kentucky University's Performing Arts Center to compete in the Regional Leadership Conference.

On February 17^th, CCATC student Billy Abbott won first place at the Skills USA competition in Tool Identification for the automotive program.

Eleven students passed Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint last semester at Clinton County Area Technology Center.  

Clinton County Area Technology Center is one of only four ATCs in the state that met all the goals in the 2016-18 KY Tech District Continuous Improvement Plan. 

On Thursday, January 25th, students at ECC and AES celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100-year-olds.

On September 27, 2017, the Industrial Maintenance students from Clinton County ATC participated in an industry tour of Toyotetsu America Inc. (TTAI).

Rhiannon Lovelace, Vivian Zheng, and Sidney Dominguez were the top three finishers in the H & R Block Challenge for this semester at CCATC.

On November 3, 2017, 35 students from Clinton County ATC Automotive program had the opportunity to attend a tour of the Georgetown, KY Toyota Manufacturing Facility.

The HOSA students at Clinton County Area Technology Center collected items for Operation Christmas Child and packed 19 shoeboxes.  

On Thursday, October 26, 2017, 38 members of the Clinton County Area Technology Center FBLA Chapter traveled to Louisville, KY, for a visit to Breakout Games and a campus tour of the University of Louisville.

On Thursday, November 9th, Clinton County Area Technology Center’s Health Science students visited the University of Kentucky’s Cadaver Lab.

Air Evac Lifeteam visited Clinton County Area Technology Center and shared career opportunities with Health Science students.

Chase Albertson, a senior in Mr. Jesse Burchett's Welding Program at Clinton County Area Technology Center, is participating in work-based learning at MetalWorkz.

Clinton County Area Technology Center Business Instructor Holly Claborn was appointed to the MBA Research National Teacher Advisory Network.  

Each month, the faculty and staff at the Clinton County Area Technology Center select one teacher and seven students who portray the “Workplace Essential Skill of the Month”. The focus skill for the month of August was ENTHUSIASM!

8th grade students at Clinton County Middle School have the opportunity to enroll in courses at the Clinton County Area Technology Center.

Upon completing a sequence of courses within the Career Pathway program of studies, students are graduating from high school with stackable, portable industry certifications.

On Tuesday, May 9th, Clinton County High School honored 99 seniors who have committed to post-secondary education in the first ever Decision Day at CCHS.

Clinton County Area Technology Center students earned a total of 44 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Digital Literacy during the spring semester.  

Student members of CCATC's FBLA chapter who competed at the State Leadership Conference were honored at the most recent Chamber of Commerce meeting.  

On April 17-19, 2017, fourteen members of CCATC's FBLA chapter attended the State Leadership Conference at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky.  

Clinton County Area Technology Center and the Clinton County Extension Office are teaming up to provide students with a better chance at a promising career with Clinton County's newest Dress for Success Career Closet.

Clinton County Area Technology Center HOSA, FBLA, and SKILLS USA students raised $117.00 during the annual Pennies for Patients fundraiser. 

Members of the CCATC HOSA organization competed at the State Leadership Conference, where senior Emily Frye won first place in the Home Health Aide competition.  

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, thirty-three members of the CCATC FBLA chapter competed at the Regional Leadership Conference.  

The final night of the Born Learning Academy for this school year was held on Monday, February 6th at the Clinton County Early Childhood Center.  

The Medical Center at Albany recently donated a hospital bed to the Health Sciences Program at the Clinton County Area Technology Center.  

Clinton County Area Technology Center students earned a total of 27 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Digital Literacy at the end of the fall semester.  

FBLA student volunteers helped out at the Christmas Program at the Clinton County Public Library on December 10th and at the annual Christmas Village on December 12th.  

HOSA and FBLA students at Clinton County Area Technology Center collected items and filled thirty-one shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Clinton County Area Technology Center students in the Medicaid Nurse Aide Program recently assisted with the annual Health Fair at Dyer Drug.  

Students in Mrs. Holly Claborn’s Financial Literacy class at CCATC are using Dave Ramsey's "Foundations in Personal Finance: High School Edition" curriculum.  

CCHS students Frank Zheng and Vivian Zheng attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta on June 29th & 30th.  

All thirteen students in Mrs. Billie Frye's Medicaid Nurse Aide Program at CCATC passed the state Registered Nursing Assistant Certification exam.  Congratulations!

Clinton County Area Technology Center HOSA, FBLA, and SKILLS USA students raised $233.67 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during the Pennies for Patients fundraiser.

Eight students passed the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) PowerPoint certification in Digital Literacy this semester at Clinton County Area Technology Center.

Congratulations to Clinton County ATC Skills USA members Daniel Duvall and Kacey Wade.   Daniel placed 3rd in Motor Controls and Kacey placed 2nd in Wood Sculpture.

Eight students passed the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word certification in Digital Literacy last semester at Clinton County Area Technology Center.

Clinton County Area Technology Center recently selected student representatives to serve on the 2015-2016 Principal’s Student Advisory Council.

Zackary Garmon, Ryan Brumley, and Jessie Albertson were the winners of this semester's H & R Block Budget Challenge.

On November 17th, Clinton County Area Technology Center FBLA students visited the Titans Learning Lab and learned about the behind the scenes workings of an NFL team.

Clinton County Area Technology Center FBLA students volunteered at the Spooky Story Night event at Clinton County Public Library on October 27th.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) students assisted with the annual Second Sunday event on October 11th. 

On Tuesday, September 22nd, volunteers from the Albany Fire Department visited the preschool and kindergarten classes at the Early Childhood Center to teach them about fire safety.

Cumberland Family Medical Center is sponsoring a school spirit photo contest on their Facebook page. 

Healthy Hometown Coordinator April Speck and Student Fitness Leader Cheryl Boils awarded trophies to the teachers at each school with the most student participation in the 1K Family Fun Run / 5K Run for the Roses.

Students from Clinton County Area Technology Center had the opportunity to test their work skills in the real world through job shadowing at local businesses.

The second Clinton County Healthy Hometown 1K Family Fun Run and 5K Run for the Roses was held at Mt. View Park on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
