The New Teacher Academy is a joint venture between Clinton, Cumberland, and Monroe County schools, and Western Kentucky University. The New Teacher Academy provides support for teachers with less than two years of experience and their mentor teacher partners.
In a message to Dr. Rebecca Stobaugh of WKU about the New Teacher Academy, Mrs. Hannah Albertson, a first year teacher at CCHS, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity.
"Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to encourage me and help me help my students during ACT prep class. Students partnered up and enjoyed the gallery walk to solve ACT math problems. :)"
The second New Teacher Academy workshop of the year was held at Cumberland County High School on September 24th.
