The federal government passed the American Rescue Plan Act, which includes over 120 billion dollars for education funding, of which Kentucky will be receiving two billion. The money will be dispersed between the state, districts, and individual schools and is designed to counteract the effects of the pandemic, including addressing inequalities in schools, purchasing cleaning and safety equipment, and addressing learning loss just to name a few examples.
The Kentucky Student Voice Team believes it is vital that students have the opportunity to fully voice their opinions about how this funding should be used. THEY WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
