Grease the Musical Hits the Stage!

Congratulations to the cast of Grease the Musical on two outstanding performances over the weekend! The show was presented on Saturday, April 23rd at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, April 24th at 2:00 PM in the Learning Center Auditorium. While the play was a fundraiser for the junior class, the cast featured students from grades 8-12. Starring in the leading roles of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski were Evan Little and Kendra Bertram. The Pink Ladies were played by Emma Tompkins (Rizzo), Loren Little (Marty), Laramie Murphy (Jan), and Gracie McFall (Frenchy). The T-Birds were played by Christian Derryberry (Kenickie), Hayden Garrett (Roger), Logan Perkins (Doody), and John Whitaker (Sonny). Valarie Latham was Miss Lynch, Jillian Perdue was Patty Simcox, and Kellie Brown was Cha-Cha DiGregorio. Thomas Oesterreicher took on the roles of Johnny Casino and Teen Angel. Caleb Marcum provided voice acting throughout the performance, as well as appearing on stage as Eugene Florczyk and Vince Fontaine. Christian Marcum, Tatum Harlan, and Emily Sawyers were assistant directors. Emily was also featured as a dance extra, along with Jabari Ndiaye. Stage manager was Emma Tompkins. Tressay Stinson oversaw hair and makeup. The stage crew included Koger Guffey, Christian Marcum, Thomas Oesterreicher, Caden Poore, Nick Poore, and Cannon Young. Grease the Musical was presented by the CCHS Junior Class, CCHS 21st Century Community Learning Center, & Title I.
